Hostel/Guest House
The teaching and training programmes at the Institute are fully residential. The Institute has two hostels, which can accommodate 84 students on single occupancy basis. There are 10 air-conditioned rooms, which are generally allotted to the foreign students. We are planning to air condition 12 more rooms in the ensuing academic year. The hostel provides a unique opportunity to the students who come from different parts of India and abroad to socialise among themselves. The students organise cultural programmes and functions on various occasions and making their stay comfortable and joyful. The hostel mess provides a variety of cuisines belonging to different cultures of India. There are four cooks, five attendants and two helpers provided by the Institute to run the mess and hostel services. A student's mess committee assisted by a full time Hostel House Keeper manages the mess. The hostel has a full time Hostel Manager who looks after the management of the hostel & guest House and Overseeing the day to day affairs of the students.
During the current academic session the hostel facility has been further expanded by providing five washing machines, one cooking range, and four computers with internet facility, exclusively for the students at the hostel.
The hostel is overall supervised by a Warden, Dr. P. Arokiasamy, who is a faculty member of the Institute.
